It warms up outside and is the perfect time to grab a meal or cocktail at one of the area’s waterfront restaurants, listening to the seagulls near Jacksonville Beach Pier, workers in the fishing boats along St. Watching Johns River or enjoying the tranquility of the Intracoastal Waterway. Casa Marina restaurant

hours: The roof is open Mondays to Thursdays from 3pm to 10pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm to 10pm and Sundays from 12pm to 10pm. The Sunday brunch is from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
The Casa Marina is one of the oldest hotels in Florida. In addition to the accommodation, it offers a restaurant and a rooftop bar for guests and visitors. Guests can enjoy Sunday brunch in the main dining room with oceanfront seating. Appetizers, sliders, crab cakes and seared ahi tuna, as well as cocktails, are among the items offered for those who want to sit on the rooftop. The view is worth the climb or use the service lift.
Azurea in an ocean resort

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 3pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 1am and Sunday from 12pm to midnight.
The Azurea is located in the old Sea Turtle Inn and overlooks the beach for guests of the resort or restaurant. With tables and comfy couches, you can enjoy fresh seafood, a steak or a drink in an area by the resort’s pool.
LandShark Bar & Grill

Located in the Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, LandShark Bar & Grill has great views of the beach and Jacksonville Beach Pier from inside and outside the restaurant while you sip some of the bar’s signature margaritas. (Hey, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?)

The Lemon Bar is located in the courtyard of the Seahorse Oceanfront Inn in Neptune Beach and has a large outdoor seating area on the Atlantic Ocean. While it’s known for its happy hour, it also serves sandwiches, salads, and seafood.
Safe Harbor Seafood Market and Restaurant

Hours: Tuesday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Safe Harbor has been around for more than 25 years and it’s a destination for many visitors and locals alike. Order your food at the counter and then find a spot outside along the docks, although there are a few tables inside. You can even buy fresh seafood from the market to prepare at home later.
Singletons Seafood Hut

Singleton’s has been around for more than seven decades. Generations of locals have eaten shrimp and hushpuppies at the cabin on the St. Johns River. While there are plenty of indoor restaurants, there is also a back patio that offers dining with a view.
Mediterranean cuisine and bar
Address: 831 1st St. Jacksonville Beach
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The restaurant is no longer affiliated with Chef Kenny Gilbert. Instead, Chef Shane Cheshire, formerly the most popular First Street Grill & Bar on the beach, is now part of the team. The menu includes Mediterranean classics such as seafood, steaks and grilled dishes. Guests can enjoy the view from the dining room on the second floor or on the terrace.
Joe’s crab hut
Address: 6 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach
Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
In the heart of Jacksonville Beach and right on the Atlantic Ocean, Joe’s Crab Shack offers crab pots, steamers, dried favorites, fish tacos and signature drinks, plus a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options.
Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill

Hours: To close at 11 a.m.
The Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill offers a variety of seafood, including mussels and squid. They also serve salads, burgers, pasta, steak, lamb chops, a pretzel topped with beer, and much more. It’s hard to beat the views, especially when they often have live entertainment too.
Dockside Seafood Restaurant
Address: 2510 2nd Ave. N., Jacksonville Beach
Opening times: daily 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In addition to the Jacksonville Beach Boat ramp, guests can drive to the dock or take a boat ride and dine with great views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The restaurant is from the same group that brought us Marker 32 and Palm Valley, North Atlantic and St. Augustine Fish Camps.
