Jacksonville, Florida – Dun & Bradstreet, a leading data and analytics company based in New Jersey, announced Thursday that it will move its global headquarters to Jacksonville.
Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry said at a news conference that the move is expected to bring 500 jobs and an average salary of $ 77,000 in five years.
“Dun & Bradstreet is closely associated with other local companies that operate globally, such as Black Knight and Fidelity National Financial,” said Curry. “This move will strengthen those relationships and leverage them for more growth and more work in the years to come.”
CEO Anthony Jabber, who said he lived in Jacksonville for 11 years, shared the rich history of the company, which was founded in 1841. Jabber is Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Grover Cleveland, and William McKinley.
According to Jabber, the company plans to open an office this fall and is currently searching the website.
“I’ve traveled a lot in the US, traveled the world and seen a lot of beautiful places, but not a place to call home compared to Jacksonville. So I’m in our city. I’m very proud of it, and I’m very proud to share it with my colleagues on Dan and Brad Street, ”said Jabber.
Mr Curry said the state incentives had already been approved and his administration would legislate the city council for review and approval within the next few weeks. Several members of the city council attended the announcement.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure this victory in our city in our community,” said Curry.
