Big gunfight in Jacksonville, golf club brings charges

Two people were arrested and two others quoted after a major altercation Thursday in which police said one person pointed a gun at another.

Police were called to a disturbance on Chambers and Fayette Streets at 5:54 p.m. Thursday. Dytaniel C. Williams, 29, 773 S. Church St .; Marqesha DR Rattler, 26, of 209 Richards St .; Rolonda A. Powell, 34, 345 E. Douglas Ave .; and Angela D. Lomelino, 45, 773 S. Church St., were charged with disorderly conduct, according to police.

During the investigation, police found that a pistol was aimed at one of the other people involved in the incident and another had been threatened with a golf club. Rattler was arrested for aggravated assault and illicit use of a weapon, and Williams was arrested for aggravated assault.

A resident of 600 blocks on South Fayette Street told police that a house window and car window were broken during the fight.
