Burger, milkshake concept is coming to downtown Jacksonville

The highlights of the menu include grass-fed beef burgers, turkey burgers, hand-dipped beef corn dogs and freshly cut French fries.

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – There will soon be a new place downtown to buy juicy burgers and delicious milkshakes.

On Tuesday, Jacksonville-based restaurateurs from The Bread & Board announced a “Bread & Burger” concept.

Bread & Burger will add a dining element to VyStar Credit Union’s campus breezeway project, which extends from 100 West Bay St. to Independent Drive.

The highlights of the menu include grass-fed beef burgers, herb turkey burgers, crispy chicken breasts, hand-dipped beef corn dogs and freshly cut French fries.

Diners can also indulge in a special milkshake menu.

“We’re excited to add our take on casual meet gourmet burgers to our sandwich footprint,” said Dwayne Beliakoff, Co-Founder.

Not only will the menu be creative, but the venue will be too. The restaurant has a kitchen made from a specially refurbished shipping container.

Plans for a wider alcohol menu are also underway for outdoor happy hour this summer.

Construction is underway and is expected to open this spring.

“… With Bread & Burger we can handle more downtown pedestrian traffic with another option to take away or sit and mix in the open air,” said Jonathan Cobbs, co-founder.

Bread & Burger, The Bread & Board and Estrella Cocina are actively recruiting for all positions. Resumes are accepted at [email protected]

Cobbs and Beliakoff, founders of The Bread & Board, also open Estrella Cocina. This is a rooftop restaurant and bar on the roof of the Vystar building on the seventh floor.
