Dozens of wines, eating places on the Jacksonville Meals & Wine Competition

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The first Jacksonville Food and Wine Festival took place on Sunday in the grounds of the Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge along Riverside Avenue.

The event, held from noon to 8pm, featured over 60 wines and more than 20 of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants.

There were also local vendors, live art installations, and bands for people to enjoy.

Proceeds from the festival will go to the Wagoner Foundation, a nonprofit that supports the Salvation Army, Veterinarians 4, Fur Sisters, Draft Vets, Jacksonville Jaycees, Veterans Association of the Women’s Army Corps, and other area groups.
