Free Concert Series Launches in Jacksonville – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jax River Jams concert series presented by Vystar Credit Union begins Thursday, April 8th.

During the four-week series, attendees can enjoy free national and local artist concerts along the river in downtown Jacksonville.

Each event begins at 5:00 p.m. at Riverfront Plaza on 2 W. Independent Drive, the place formerly known as Jacksonville Landing.

Local openers occur at 6 p.m., followed by the headliners at 7:30 p.m.

There will also be a number of food trucks and local bars for the concert goers to enjoy.

Face covering and / or social distancing are required.

Paid parking in the area is free after 5 p.m.

April 8: Country singer-songwriter Chase Rice with local opener Firewater Tent Revival

April 15th: Punk-pop band New Found Glory with the local opener Universal Green

April 22nd: Hip Hop artists and Quad City DJs from Jacksonville with local opener LPT

April 29th: Rock band Sugar Ray with local opener Honey Hounds
