ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shootout that left two men dead.
According to the OPD, the shooting occurred at 2:18 a.m. on Sunday when two men drove west on Colonial Drive.
Officers said another vehicle stopped next to the men and shot 25-year-old Darien Sulph and 31-year-old Brandon Bevel.

When the officers arrived, they found the two men dead in their vehicle. Her car was found near a bus stop in front of a Wendy.
Investigators said both men were from Jacksonville. Before the shoot, the two enjoyed the Orlando nightlife.
According to officers, the shooting closed East Colonial Drive from Coy Drive to Hampton Avenue.

OPD said in a tweet, “Colonial Drive will be closed for an extended period between Coy Drive and Hampton Avenue while police investigate a crash and gunfire.”
Colonial Drive has since reopened.
Christian Baciu lives nearby and said the sirens woke him up.
“It’s shocking to me. This is a safe area and very rarely seen. It’s shocking, ”said Baciu.
The police did not release any information about the victims or any suspicious information. Investigators did not say what led to the shootings.
Baciu said he hoped investigators would find out what happened.
“We hope they find all the answers,” said Baciu.
