Jacksonville has an outdoor event called “Celebrate the Shamrock”

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. – The city of Jacksonville went Irish before St. Patrick’s Day and was hosting an outdoor “Celebrate the Shamrock” event today.

The free event featured live music, whistles, and even a giveaway gift basket!

A handicraft table was also set up for children. Carriage rides were also possible.

“We are very excited since the last event fell [through] Briefly above all with COVID, we’re excited to be open again, safe with masks on, but the best part is that everyone is socially aloof and can enjoy their day, ”said Amanda Moreira, Executive Director of Jacksonville City Council.
