Jacksonville’s “Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration” returns

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The city of Jacksonville announced Tuesday that the city’s July 4th fireworks celebration will be held in multiple locations across Duval County this year to celebrate the nation’s independence.

At each location, the City of Jacksonville has spectacular fireworks displays starting at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

“With the success of our celebrations last year, we want to maintain that momentum and create an even better experience,” said Mayor Lenny Curry. “Residents and visitors can choose between six locations to watch the fireworks with their family and friends.”

Fireworks are set off at the following locations in different communities:

  • Downtown Jacksonville

  • St. Johns city center

  • FSCJ North Campus

  • The Avenues Mall

  • Trinity Baptist Church

  • Ed Austin Regional Park

The downtown Jacksonville location will include a family fun zone, food trucks, bars, and a concert at Riverfront Plaza starting at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks areas are offered on both the north and south banks of the St. Johns River.

As every year, News4Jax will televise and stream the city’s spectacular fireworks displays and others in northeast Florida.
