Man discovered shot useless at Jacksonville gasoline station

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officers said a man was arrested for questioning Monday night following a fatal shootout at a gas station in Jacksonville.

According to Sgt. Cayenne, with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office, a gas station on the corner of New Kings and Moncrief was called shortly after 7 p.m. because of a verbal argument between two men.

Cayenne said the argument escalated and one man pulled a gun and shot the other before escaping the area.

When the investigators were on site, they found a man dead. Cayenne said police can track down the other man who is believed to be involved.
