Man shot dead in front of Normandy gas station, say Jacksonville police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot and wounded outside a gas station in Normandy on Sunday, the Jacksonville sheriff’s office said.

The officers replied to a gas station on Ramona Boulevard near Lane Avenue around 11 a.m. Police said they learned that a man was shot dead in front of the gas station shop and then ran into the house. The sheriff’s office said he was rushed to hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

At a press conference on Sunday afternoon, police said that no suspect had been identified.
