Memorial Healthcare Group Inc. is renovating the closed Soul Food Bistro in the southwest of Kernan and in the Atlantic into a women’s health center.
The building at 11876 Atlantic Blvd. is located next to a Memorial Emergency Center.
The city approved Auld & White Constructors LLC on April 30th to renovate nearly 600 square feet for what is known as the Atlantic Women’s Center at a cost of $ 1.5 million.
TM Partners PLLC from Lakewood Ranch is the project architect.
A memorial spokesman could not be reached immediately.

Landlord Triple Net Equities Ltd., led by developer Peter Sleiman, bought the 1.42 hectare property in August 2019.
Potter’s House Soul Food Bistro II opened on January 1, 2013 in the building, a former O’Charley’s, as the second location for the Potter’s House Restaurant.
Potter’s House moved to Regency Park in the former Outback Steakhouse in early 2019 when the lease expired.
Memorial Women’s Health is located on the hospital’s main campus at 3627 University Blvd. S., Suite 200.
According to Memorialwomenshealth.com, women’s health services range from birth control to robotic surgery.
“Our goal at Memorial Women’s Health is to provide continuous, high-quality health care to people from adolescence through menopause,” the website says.
The city is currently considering a permit for a construction project worth $ 75,000.
The new project in the Southside / East Arlington region creates medical synergies.
Memorial built a detached emergency room on 11850 Atlantic Blvd. and opened there in July 2014.
Memorial Hospital is part of Nashville-based HCA Inc.
