Mercedes-USA builds Sprinter for charity in Jacksonville

My heroes from my hometown

The Methodist Hospital is just a few thousand meters from Mercedes USA’s huge facility in Jacksonville, Florida. I was born there almost four decades ago and watched Mercedes-Benz team members try to help the impoverished families on Florida’s first coast.

Now they have finally been recognized by the Top Brass as they spent long nights building a Sprinter van. “Kim’s Open Door, a non-profit area whose volunteers are helping the city’s at-risk children by giving them access to mentoring, educational support, arts, and local events.” So this new black van is equipped to transport a few tons of groceries needy families. It will deliver groceries from Daytona to Waycross, so we welcome everyone to Mercedes in Jacksonville. I’ll stop by tomorrow to take a quick look at the new Brabus 800. I wish you a nice weekend!
