Reward increased for information on deadly gunfight in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, NC (WITN) – Investigations into a fatal shooting in the parking lot of a Jacksonville apartment complex continue, and police say the reward for information has increased.

On November 11th, 2020, at around 11:30 p.m., Jacksonville Police responded to a shooting in the parking lot of The Reserve Apartments complex at 100 Talon Dr.

Officers found Lamar Johnson lying on the floor with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to the $ 2,500 Crime Stoppers Reward, the Jacksonville Police Department will provide additional funds totaling up to $ 10,000 in cash.
