Strong participation in Jacksonville Indian Basketball Camp

June 8th – One of the first youth sports camps on this summer’s calendar was the Jacksonville Indian Basketball Camp, held last week (Thursday-Saturday) at John Alexander High School.

The camp consisted of two sessions; one that mainly focused on basketball skills and the other that was dedicated to shooting.

Jacksonville High School’s chief basketball coach Mark Alexander, members of the JHS basketball coaching team, and several former Indians served as camp instructors.

Some participants took advantage of learning a little more about basketball while others worked to improve their skills and hone their basics of the sport.

Campers were arriving second to ninth graders.
