JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Last month, the Jacksonville Fair was canceled to keep people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of this cancellation, however, the Greater Jacksonville Fair has decided to hold a food festival instead.
The fair food test will take place on November 14th and 15th from 10am to 6pm at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. The festival would feature classic fair food and local live musicians. Several 4-H highlights and activities are also planned in the Livestock Arena.
Greater Jacksonville Fair CEO and President Bill Olson said he wanted people to still experience their favorite part of the fair with local food and entertainment.
“The Fair Food Festival is an opportunity for attendees to enjoy all of their favorite foods, listen to great music, and greet our youth while practicing safe social distancing,” said Olson.
Masks are encouraged and there are over 100 tables for people to sit at.
Entire vehicle passes are $ 10. Passes can be bought here.
