The Jacksonville Sheriff’s workplace sees police exercise Monday night time

Police didn’t release details, but a First Coast News photographer said there were about 20 police officers on the scene.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Several police units from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are in a SWAT situation in the Julington Creek area of ​​Jacksonville.

A neighbor across from the scene says it happens on Toucan Drive. He and his wife were ordered by law enforcement to evacuate.

The man reported that the police had been there since around 4:30 p.m.

Police didn’t release details, but a First Coast News photographer said there were about 20 police officers on the scene, including a SWAT team.

A neighbor told First Coast News that they heard the police scream, “Come out with your hands up!” However, First Coast News has not confirmed to police whether there is a stalemate.

The police blocked a neighborhood around San Jose Boulevard and Julington Creek Road. The neighbors told First Coast News that a helicopter hovered over the scene for between 45 minutes and an hour.
